Policies and Terms of Service

The Pampered Cow reserves the right to amend prices, treatments, policies, and terms and conditions at any time, as necessary. Any changes will be communicated with reasonable notice where possible.

Below you’ll find all the information you need about my policies and terms of service. These are in place to ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for all our clients.

Booking and Cancellation Policy

The Pampered Cow operates by pre-scheduled appointments only. Walk-ins are not available to ensure a personalised and private experience.

Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may require full payment for future bookings.

A 20% deposit is required to secure all appointments. If you cancel without sufficient notice, the deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee.

Please be mindful that other clients are scheduled after your appointment, and arriving late impacts the flow of the day. My policies are designed to protect all clients and ensure a smooth experience. Repeated lateness may result in the right to refuse future bookings.

If you fail to attend your appointment without notice, please consider that I have prepared the studio, allocated time, and set up resources specifically for your treatment. No-shows result in wasted product, equipment, and time.

Appointment Guidelines at The Pampered Cow

Clients arriving 10–15 minutes late may have their treatment shortened, but will still be charged in full. For delays beyond 15 minutes, the appointment may be cancelled and treated as a no-show.

Appointments are allocated specific time slots. If you arrive late, your treatment may need to be shortened to accommodate the schedule, but the full-service fee will still apply.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a smooth experience for all clients.

Refund Policy

Treatment Satisfaction:
If you’re not satisfied with your treatment, please contact us within 24 hours. We may offer a correction, partial refund, or discounted follow-up treatment, depending on the situation.

Retail Products:

  • Refunds are available for unopened, unused products returned within 14 days of purchase, with proof of purchase.

  • Opened or used products are non-refundable unless proven faulty.

Payment

We currently accept cash and Gift Vouchers as payment for all treatments and products.

At this time, we are unable to accept other forms of payment. Please note that full payment may be requested prior to your treatment.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.

  • We collect personal information (e.g., name, email, medical history) only for booking, consultations, and treatments.

  • Your data is securely stored and never shared with third parties, except for essential services like booking systems.

  • You have the right to access or request deletion of your data. For questions or concerns, please contact us directly.

Children and Guests
As a private, home-based salon, I kindly ask that no children or additional guests accompany you to your appointment to maintain a calm and professional environment.

Terms and Conditions

  • Appointments are confirmed upon booking. Full payment or a deposit may be required for certain treatments.

  • Loyalty rewards are offered for returning customers only and cannot be redeemed as cash.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service for reasons including late arrival, health contraindications, or inappropriate behaviour.

Health and Safety Policy

Your safety is our priority.

  • Consultation forms must be completed prior to treatments to ensure your safety.

  • Please inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or skin sensitivities before your appointment.

  • Treatments will only proceed if deemed safe based on the consultation.

Gift Voucher Policy

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

  • Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • They must be presented at the time of the appointment.

Loyalty Cards

Each customer may use one loyalty card per visit, which must be validated with our official stamp at the time of your appointment. Unfortunately, we are unable to backdate stamps for lost or forgotten cards. Loyalty card offers are exclusive to the individual customer and cannot be combined with any other promotions or discounts.

Underage Client Policy

  • Treatments for clients under 18 years require parental or guardian consent.

  • Age restrictions apply to certain treatments, such as advanced skincare and lash lifts.

Patch Test Policy

  • Patch tests are required at least 24- 48 hours before certain treatments, such as lash tints or lifts, chemical peels.

  • Treatments cannot proceed without a completed patch test, even if waived by the client.

Complaints and Feedback Policy

We value your feedback.

  • If you have any concerns or are dissatisfied with a treatment, please contact me and I will do my best to assist.

I will work with you to address the issue and may offer a correction, refund, or follow-up treatment where appropriate.

Refusal Of Treatment

Please be aware that we reserve the right to decline treatments. Disrespectful or rude behaviour towards myself and or my home or studio will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Liability Disclaimer

  • Treatments are provided based on the information disclosed during the consultation.

  • Results may vary based on individual skin/body types.

  • The Pampered Cow is not liable for adverse outcomes if medical or skin history was not fully disclosed.

  • Please disclose any medical conditions, including pregnancy, allergies, or medications, before booking. This is for your safety, as some treatments may not be appropriate.

  • While we will take all reasonable care to ensure the safety of your belongings, we do not accept any responsibility for the theft or loss of, or damage to, any of your or your accompanying visitors’ property. We would strongly advise you not to bring valuable personal belongings with you.

Use of Images and Testimonials

  • Photos or testimonials will only be used for promotional purposes with explicit client consent, you will always be asked beforehand.

  • Clients can withdraw their consent at any time by contacting us.

Right To Refuse

  • We reserve the right to refuse treatment to anyone behaving aggressively, inappropriately, or disrespectfully towards our staff.

  • While we take all reasonable care, we cannot be held responsible for the loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during your visit.

Client Policy

The Pampered Cow is a private, home-based salon, and treatments are exclusively offered to female clients. This policy is in place to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for everyone.
