Facial Treatment Contraindications

Important Information Before Your Facial Treatment

We prioritise your safety and well-being during all treatments. Certain conditions may require adjustments or postpone treatments. For your safety, please notify us before booking if you have any of the following:

Medical Conditions:

• Active cold sores or herpes simplex

• Ongoing cancer Treatment

• Recent surgery (within last 3 months)

• Uncontrolled high blood pressure

• COVID-19 and its symptoms

• Sunburn or severe skin sensitivity

• Unhealed skin injuries or inflammation

• Bacterial infections i.e. conjunctivitis, sties, impetigo and boils

• Recently consumed alcohol or under the influence of drugs

• Fungal infections i.e. ringworm

• Recent Chemical peels (within 2 weeks)

• Recent Botox or fillers (within 2 weeks)

Current Medications:

• Roaccutane (within last 6 months)

• Prescribed acne medications

• Blood thinning medications

• Antibiotics affecting skin sensitivity

Please note:

• Pregnancy (certain treatments may need modification)

• Some skin conditions may require GP approval

• A patch test may be required 24-48 hours before treatment
